Day Out With Thomas provides an opportunity for kids to take a ride with their favourite tank engine, meet the railway controller, Sir Topham Hatt, have fun in the Imagination Station, enjoy face painting, musical entertainment and much more! 2) Crazy For You – Theatre Calgary May 2, 2017 – May 20, 2017

Theatre Calgary’s final production of the 2016/2017 season is a new musical by George and Ira Gershwin. It follows a young banker who travels to the slow, sleepy town of Deadrock. He’s there to foreclose a theatre, but unexpectedly, something happens there that changes his life. This is a catchy, energetic musical.

3) Canmore Uncorked May 3, 2017 – May 14, 2017

Canmore’s annual food and drink festival returns in May. Expect 12 days of special set-price menus at more than 20 participating Canmore restaurants, as well as one-of-a-kind featured events.

4) Jazz and Bubbles Mar 16, 2017 to Jun 29, 2017

Aiming to emulate the Prohibition-era supper clubs of old, the Untitled Champagne Lounge presents a weekly night of live jazz music. Each Thursday, the Deanne Matley Duo will play the lounge’s Jazz and Bubbles event. To accompany Matley’s music, Untitled will offer 20 per cent off vintage and non-vintage bottles from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on these nights.

5) Calgary Food Tours – Sunday Brunch w/ Calgary Farmers Market Tour

One faces a lot of choice when coming to the Calgary Farmers’ Market, but Calgary Food Tours can help cut through the noise every Sunday from February to November this year. The tour will provide background information on several signature market foods after a relaxing brunch. The tour will start at J. Webb Wine Merchants and will move through tastings at 10 different market vendors, ranging from fresh produce, savoury meats, tasty pastries, and more.
