Hello Hamptons Residents
I am certain that you are aware of the potential pocket development within our Hamptons community. Over the past 2 weeks, those residents (homeowners) directly impacted by the proposed development would have received a letter from the City of Calgary informing them of the Application for Land Use Amendment: LOC2016-0099.
I strongly encourage everyone to become familiar with the most current information available, the City of Calgary has provided a link to get more information about this application and to provide comments to our Councillor, Joe Magliocca as well as the File Manager, Joshua de Jong.
It is important that the entire community speaks up, don’t wait for your neighbors or the Hamptons Community Association to do this for you. Everyone in the community including the Hamptons Community Association is only one voice, but Hamptons Residents together we are thousands of voices. Please let the City of Calgary, our Councillor Joe Magliocca, the File Manager Joshua de Jong, QuantumPlace Developments Ltd. and The Hamptons Golf Club know how you feel.
My understanding is that the Hamptons Residents for Responible Development has been out canvasing the community and I encourage everyone to get informed and understand that these proposed pocket developments will have an impact on the entire community.
Perry J Genereux, President
